Scotland's Galloway coast enjoys a very mild climate, and year round golfing is possible, with 'out of season' pricing as an incentive.
Being the closest guest house to the Dunskey Golf Course, the Dunskey Guest House is the ideal base for your golfing break.
We can offer concessionary rates at 6 local golf courses:
Dunskey Golf Club, Portpatrick
Creachmore Golf Club, Stranraer
Wigtownshire County Golf Club, Glenluce
Newton Stewart Golf Club
The 'Home' course is a very well kept, undulating links course, with some exceptionally scenic cliff top holes, tempting visitors to return, year after year. The wind is often a factor, and the par 68 can be quite difficult to play.
Dunskey hosts several annual tournaments and visitors are encouraged to join in competitive play.
"BEST HOLIDAY COURSE IN THE SOUTH OF SCOTLAND" Golf World
This challenging championship course was designed by James Baird, one of the greatest golf course architects. His skilful use of the natural facilities, burns, woodland, bracken and whin has limited the number of man-made hazards to a minimum and produced an outstanding layout. Situated alongside Loch Ryan only eight miles from Portpatrick, few of our guests can resist the opportunity to play here.
